Rock the 80s

Cocktails

80s cocktails seemed mainly designed to get girls drunk without them noticing. Most had cute or sexy names (Slippery Nipple anyone?) and were either super sweet (so you didn’t see it coming) or so strong that one drink would knock you out (we’re looking at you Long Island Ice Tea). Consider yourself warned.

1/2 ounce coffee liqueur
1/2 ounce Irish cream liqueur
1/2 ounce orange liqueur (Grand Marnier recommended)

Pour the coffee liqueur into a shot glass. Float the Irish cream liqueur on top. Float the Grand Marnier on top of the second layer.

Note: “floating” liquor means pouring it slowly into the glass, usually over the back of a spoon, so it sits on top, rather than mixing with the layer below. Practice ahead of time for best results.
