True Wild West saloons didn’t mess around with “mixers” and “garnishes.” You drank straight up whiskey and were happy to have it. However, tastes change and most guests will want something a little less hard core. Here are a few Western themed cocktails sure to please your modern cowboys.

 


Lynchburg Lemonade

Ingredients
1 ounce Jack Daniel’s Whiskey
1 ounce triple sec
1 ounce sour mix
Lemon-Lime soda (approx. 4 ounces)

Directions
Pour the whiskey, triple sec, and sour mix into a Collins glass filled with ice. Top with soda. Stir well.

 

 Texas-Tea-cocktail
Texas Tea

Ingredients
½ ounce tequila
½ ounce rum
½ ounce vodka
½ ounce triple sec
1 ounce sweet and sour mix
Cola
Lemon wedge for garnish

Directions
Pour the spirits and sour mix into a Collins glass with ice and stir well. Top the glass with cola. Garnish with the lemon wedge.

Snakebite Shooter

Ingredients
2 ounces Whiskey
½ ounces Lime Juice

Directions
Pour the ingredients into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake well and strain into a shot glass.
